The most repetitive game I've ever played

Seriously. This game consists of you holding down the mouse, and then keeping it that way. Moving it around. For however long you choose to play it. I gave up at level 5. Why? Because it gets incredibly boring.

The graphics were nice and sharp. The music was great, but the sound effects were not so. Muffled and quiet gunshots, and a mediocre "uhh" when someone gets hit. It had a decent violence level.

But come on man. Change something. Add a different gun, or different locations. I got sick of this game sooooo fast.... And there's no difference in the levels, unless you count "throwing in a new enemy every 10 minutes" a big difference. Other than that, the only reason one has levels is for different enemy amounts to complete it. I'm sorry dude, but this got old fast. Spice it up a little next time.

Good, but there are glitches

I liked it. It was fun. But I found some glitches, one of which was game-ruining. Aside from these, I thought it was excellent.

First of all, you could get caught up on the walls way easy. Like, insanely easy. It wasn't hard to get out, but it *was* annoying.

Second of all, the direction of the light wasn't the same direction you moved through the maze. I understand it's supposed to be like he's holding it in an arm, but it's damn hard to get used to, and arm positioning doesn't really matter on stick figures =)

Lastly, the worst bug (Minor spoilers, if you care), there's no way to finish the part where you need to jump over the pit, because there's no way to jump. I tried hitting every key on my keyboard, and none of them let me jump, and I died every time. So, I had to right click->play, and see the "ending," and missed all the gameplay in between.

If that last bug wasn't there, it would've been a 9 or 10, because I liked it. But I couldn't finish the game. See if you can fix it, or prove me an asshole by saying what I did wrong =)

Press space to jump i should have used up really

Fun

It's a fun game to play. I liked how each of the levels wasn't too hard, but not exactly easy. I couldn't find any glitches to speak of, so that's a good thing. Graphically, it was pretty good. The text, in particular, sticks out for some reason. Stylistically, the game was fun. Almost like a "target practice" kind of thing. I couldn't hear the sound too well, but from what I heard, it was good. Of course, I suppose the shooting counts for violence. And considering the style of game, it doesn't require interactivity or humor. Good job, man.

TrueDarkness responds:

Thanks man! I tried to make it failry relistic and I think that turned out pretty well =P
Thanks for the great review

Disturbingly fun

The graphics were fun and well-made. The style was that of a normal platformer, which I tend to like. I didn't hear the sound, as my speakers were off, but I'm giving you guys the benefit of the doubt. As for everything else, well, it was fun and light-hearted.

Nice work.

Great

I thought it was very good and well-made.

My only gripe was it sometimes suffered minimal slowdown when the cursors would break into multiple pieces, and they all followed one general idea I didn't like too much. The whole "move the cursor and it stays there for a second, then disintigrates back" was repeated for all of the cursors. I would've liked something that just stayed static, or something more original than that one formula.

PixilProductions responds:

yeah, i know, its like that somtimes.

It was awesome!

I thought it was really good. It wasn't too hard, but it kept you interested while it lasted. It also had by far the best visuals I've ever seen in a flash game.

I wish there was more to the end, if you know what I'm saying. (Don't wanna ruin it...).

Anyways man, I loved it. Keep up the good work.

Sure

The graphics were crap, and I've seen games like this a million times before, but it was alright.

The controls literally made my brother cry, though. They sucked terribly.

Great

Amazingly addictive, too.

Edvin responds:

Sleep with me =)

...

Why the fuck can't I move?

My guy doesn't move at all. Ever. Clicking is fine. Space bar is fine. I can't move at all. I'm actually getting incredibly frustrated.

I would really like to play the game.

Good job!

I thought it was really good.

Out of curiosity, though, what happens when I do all 2060 fights? Can you even?

BoMToons responds:

you CAN do all 2060...but there's not really much point except seeing all of the dumb comments I included along the way. (the game will remember your progress though if you come back after closing the window)
